I guess it is as simple as "I just am."

November 19th & 20th
When I was working on my "100 paintings in 100 days" and looking for so many subjects, I created small still life paintings of some of my favorite Christmas ornaments. (see attachments) I followed my favorite acrylic techniques which include thumbnail sketches, under painting and glazing, the latter being very important when painting reflective surfaces. These made wonderful gifts, and I kept a few to put out on my own mantle over the holidays. I also printed off Christmas cards from the images.
I thought it would be the perfect time of year to offer a still life workshop with a holiday theme. The November date would give you enough of a window to have cards made up of your paintings if you were interested. (a few options of which I will talk about in the workshop) We will be working on small size canvases. Some acrylic experience necessary.
Class size is limited to 6 seats, which gives me time to ensure everyone is receiving the instruction they need.

So now the question....What to do next month?? I am going to send out a questionnaire to everyone on my "sneak peek preview" list to see what is needed, and if anyone of you reading this would like to add to that, please message me to let me know. I have been asked to do another acrylic and ink explorations, and am also thinking about more acrylic workshops. One that maybe helps the inexperienced understand acrylic paint?? Acrylics can be rather troublesome at times, a feeling expressed by a majority of those in this latest class.
Another idea I have is a one day fun creative exercise class.
Let me know what you think!
