I have been working on some little paintings of lighthouses. I have paintings in the "Salish Sea Market" in Bowser, and they have been asking me for lighthouses. I love how the red and white buildings jump out. I am enjoying these little paintings.
Well, Time to pack up and get going back home. I really should be weeding my garden.
Oh, and check out my CindyMawle contemporary artist public page, I am putting up all my sketches and info on there regularily.

According to the online Merriam Webster dictionary:
(1):usually sudden manifestation or perception of the essential nature or meaning of something (2) : an intuitive grasp of reality through something (as an event) usually simple and striking (3) : an illuminating discovery, realization, or disclosure…
The other day while ordering my twice weekly latte, I stood there deciding what to have this time. Soy? Regular milk? Small or medium? vanilla shot? Half caf? Decaf? Regular caf? After making my decision I watched the barista create my choice and I asked her if most people have the same drink each time they come in. She said that most customers have their consistent orders. Hmmm…I thought.
So meanwhile, back at the studio while looking over my many paintings I had my epiphany! My acrylic paint is my "Latte" and the many styles and subjects are choice of the "day" depending on my mood!
It's who I am. I will have to think on that for a bit, and rather than attempt to be someone I am not, make it work for me.
